Grace Ward, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Grace Ward completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Pre-Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2015. Grace then later received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the spring of 2022! She is also LSVT-BIG certified in Parkinson’s Management. Grace obtains special interest experience in the treatment of neurologic disorders, with an emphasis on vestibular, stroke, and Parkinson’s management. Grace is also proficient in the Spanish language, giving Mountain Land the capability to connect with a more diverse population of patients. Grace also volunteers annually in Guatemala on an orthopedic surgery trip, where she is part of a collaborative healthcare team treating patients post-operatively.

Grace’s treatment philosophy is a holistic approach considering all body systems, both orthopedic and neurologic, and considering each individual patient as a whole. “I strive to treat my patients like how I would treat my family to give a personal touch to my treatment sessions and relationships with my patients.” What inspired Grace to enter the Physical Therapy field is simply her passion for helping others. “Physical Therapy was a career that I found to align with my passions of altruism, anatomy, and physical health and fitness. My experience and journey of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy has only strengthened my passion for the field.”

Besides physical therapy, Grace loves anything that will get her outdoors! She likes to hike, fly fish, go camping, slackline, outdoor climb, and most importantly spend time with her 3-year-old Australian Shepherd named Willow.
