Kali Shepherd, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Kali Shepherd earned her Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from the Salt Lake Community College in 2012 and is a credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Kali worked for Mountain Land Physical Therapy from 2013 to 2018 as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Orchard Cove Rehabilitation and South Davis Community Hospital and has worked as a traveling therapist for Mountain Land since January 2021.
Kali specializes in total joint replacement rehabilitation, balance and coordination training, aquatic therapy, and treating Parkinson’s disease in older patients. She has also taken the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 Course, certifying her to treat female pelvic floor conditions and dysfunctions. Her philosophy in treating her patients is simple: listen to their needs and concerns, and with compassion and understanding, help them reach their goals and gain back their independence.
In her free time, Kali enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, camping, disc golf, sand volleyball, indoor rock climbing, and spending time with family and friends.
